Canadian Cancer Society - The Cancer Connection - The Cancer Connection is an organization of volunteer cancer survivors and Canadian Cancer Society coordinators. All Cancer Connection volunteers must complete a series of training components and be accepted into the system. Coordinators 'match' Cancer Connection volunteers with people diagnosed with cancer who call in requesting support and information. The 'matching' criteria can be a series of factors such as age, gender, type of cancer, stage of cancer, type of cancer treatment and specific requests for information on alternative health.

Canadian Cancer Society - A national, community-based organization of volunteers in Canada, whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
