ACUPRESSURE
Acupressure is another method of Chinese Medicine very similar to Acupuncture, but without the use of needles.
The fundamental principals are the same, balancing the Qi by working the acupuncture points with finger pressure and massage.
Full body treatments can give attention to all of the meridian pathways, working through the energy blocks, alleviating stress and resulting in a more balanced, relaxed condition.
For more acute symptoms, the specific area and meridian associated with the imbalance is more specifically treated, and moxibustion, cupping or electrical stimulus can be used on these points of extreme stress or blockage.
"Dis-ease" begins with stress on the body, an imbalance of lifestyle. Acupressure is guaranteed to be a stepping stone to renewed energy and a healthy perspective to living.
Acupressure massage is complimentary to sports activities by keeping the body supple and counter balancing the stress and exertion on the muscles, helping to keep the muscles toned; and by balancing the entire physical system, lends the body more accessible energy.
